Kemicard is a Salesforce-native digital wallet pass platform: it creates, distributes, and updates Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes directly from your Salesforce records — membership cards, loyalty cards, event tickets, coupons, and credentials — with real-time updates, push notifications, geofencing, and scan-based check-in that writes back to the CRM. It installs from the AppExchange as a managed package; there is no external database and no custom code required.
Where They Differ
iMIS manages the membership itself; Kemicard puts that membership on the phone. Kemicard is not an AMS — it has no dues engine or member portal. Instead it turns records in Salesforce into live Apple Wallet and Google Wallet cards. Organizations running iMIS as their AMS would need their data in Salesforce (or a Salesforce sync) to use Kemicard; organizations on Salesforce-based AMS solutions (Nimble AMS, Fonteva, NPSP) plug Kemicard in directly.
Can You Use Both?
Yes, in the sense that they answer different questions: iMIS answers "who is a member and what have they paid?"; Kemicard answers "how does that membership live in the member’s wallet?" — but Kemicard specifically requires the Salesforce platform underneath.
