The Digital Card That Connects

Kemicard is built by Kemisoft, a Salesforce AppExchange partner headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, serving customers worldwide. Our mission: connect organizations with their members through the wallet already on every phone.

Our story

Why We Built Kemicard

Organizations running on Salesforce kept facing the same problem: their member data lived in the CRM, but their membership cards lived in print shops, PDFs, and someone else's pass platform. Every renewal meant a reprint; every design change meant a reissue; every scan meant data stuck outside the CRM.

So we built the wallet pass platform that lives where the data lives. Kemicard installs from the AppExchange, drives passes from any Salesforce object, and writes every wallet event back to the record. No middleware, no second database, no sync jobs — just your CRM, connected to your members' phones.

Kemicard is built by Kemisoft, a technology consultancy and trusted partner for enterprise modernization. With certifications in Salesforce and Nintex, Kemisoft excels in system integration and offers services including Salesforce Consulting, Business Process Automation, and Business Intelligence. Work with clients across many industries gave Kemisoft the market intelligence to develop its own custom solutions — including Kemicard.

Today Kemicard powers membership, loyalty, ticketing, and access programs for nonprofits, associations, resorts, schools, and public-sector teams across North America and beyond.

Our mascot

Meet Horus

Horus, the Kemicard mascot — a falcon in a pharaonic nemes headdress holding a wallet pass

Horus is our champion — a falcon in the nemes headdress, named for the ancient Egyptian god of protection and the all-seeing eye. He carries a Kemicard pass everywhere he goes, and that is not just decoration: the falcon's eye is the oldest symbol we know for watchful verification, which is precisely what a wallet pass does at the door.

He is a nod to the heritage of our founding team and to the idea behind the product: a credential that is unmistakably yours, hard to forge and easy to verify, and always current. You will spot him around the docs, the blog, and anywhere we are explaining how the platform keeps your members' credentials safe.

Uraeus on the brow, wedjat under the eye, one pass in hand.

In short

What Kemicard is

Kemicard is a Salesforce-native application that issues Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes directly from Salesforce records. It is distributed as a managed package on the Salesforce AppExchange and built by Kemisoft Group Ltd. of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Passes are generated from any standard or custom object, so a membership card, event ticket, loyalty card, coupon, permit or staff credential renders from the record an organisation already maintains. A change to that record updates every pass already on a phone, and a scan writes back to the same record. There is no middleware, no separate pass database, and no app for the pass holder to install.

Facts

  • Category. Digital wallet pass platform, delivered as a Salesforce managed package rather than a standalone SaaS product with its own database.
  • Platforms. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, from a single template.
  • Install. From the Salesforce AppExchange, having passed Salesforce's partner security review.
  • Maker. Kemisoft Group Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada — a Salesforce Consulting and ISV partner.
  • Pricing. Annual, by cards issued, from 5,000 cards at $3,500 USD per year. A 10% discount applies to nonprofits.
  • Public sector. Available through Carahsoft.

What Kemicard is not

  • Not a payment product. Kemicard issues passes; it does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a merchant account. Apple Pay and Google Pay are the payment halves of those wallets and are a separate concern.
  • Not a decentralised identity platform. It issues organisational credentials from your system of record, not self-sovereign identity.
  • Not related to PassKit the vendor. PassKit is also the name of Apple's own developer framework for .pkpass files, which Kemicard builds on. The similarly named third-party vendor is unrelated to Kemisoft.
  • Not a standalone product. It requires a Salesforce org. If you do not run Salesforce, Kemicard is not the right tool.
