Kemicard vs Yourpass: Two AppExchange Wallet Pass Packages
Both install from the Salesforce AppExchange as managed packages, and both issue Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. The difference is where the pass lives once it is issued. Yourpass connects Salesforce to its own pass platform. Kemicard renders the pass from the Salesforce record.
The short version. If you issue passes at very high volume across several systems (CRM, POS, ERP), or want an EU-based vendor with its own pass infrastructure, Yourpass is designed for that. If Salesforce is your system of record and you want the pass to be a view of the record rather than a file held elsewhere, Kemicard is.

Where Yourpass is the better choice
- Very high volumes. Yourpass publishes a scale figure from its own deployments: a push notification to 4 million cards in about seven minutes [1]. Its per-pass list price is low.
- Passes that serve several systems. If the same pass needs to be driven from a POS or ERP as well as Salesforce, a platform that sits outside any one of them fits more naturally.
- An EU-based vendor. Yourpass lists its headquarters in Prague [2], which some European buyers prefer for procurement.
Where Kemicard is the better choice
- The pass is the record. Yourpass stores each pass in its own infrastructure, driven from Salesforce through its package. Kemicard renders the pass from the Salesforce record itself, so there is no second copy to keep in step.
- Scans are checked against the live record. The Kemicard Scanner validates against the Salesforce record at the moment of the scan and writes the result back to it, so a lapsed membership fails at the door.
- Your Flows run it. Issuing, updating and revoking passes are steps in record-triggered Flows your admin already maintains (how it works).
- Pricing is all-in and in USD. Kemicard's annual tiers include Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, real-time updates, push notifications and user licences, and the full table is public.
Questions worth asking both vendors
- When a member's status changes in Salesforce, what has to happen before the pass on their phone changes?
- When a pass is scanned, where is it validated, and where does the scan record end up?
- Which costs sit outside the per-pass price: setup, minimums, scanning users, support?
- When was the AppExchange package last updated, and what is on the roadmap?
