Wallet Membership Cards for AC MemberSmart, in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
AC MemberSmart, from Advanced Communities, runs membership on Salesforce and Experience Cloud. Kemicard adds the card members actually carry: an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass issued from the same org, kept current through renewal and expiry.
What AC MemberSmart already does
Advanced Communities describes AC MemberSmart as 100% Salesforce native [1]. It covers [1][2]:
- membership subscriptions and renewals
- payments and donations
- events, training and member directories
- an Experience Cloud member portal
Its subscriptions are built on standard Salesforce objects:
- Products hold the membership subscriptions.
- Pricebooks hold the fees.
- Opportunities hold the payment obligations.
Membership Subscription and Membership Subscription Term objects sit alongside them. Registration and renewal forms are built on Lightning Flow [1].
Its "Member Card" is for staff
AC MemberSmart includes a Member Card component that membership managers add to the Contact record. It shows the member's activity: events attended, orders, payments and donations, last logins, engagement score and current subscriptions [1].
It is a view for your team inside Salesforce, not a card the member carries. That is the gap Kemicard fills.
How Kemicard works with it
- Same org, no connector. Kemicard installs from the AppExchange into the org that runs AC MemberSmart. There is no sync and no second member database.
- The card is issued when the membership starts. A record-triggered Flow issues the wallet card when a member registers or a subscription begins, alongside the Flows AC MemberSmart already uses.
- Renewal and expiry follow the record. When a subscription renews or lapses, the card on the member's phone changes with it.
- Members add the card from the portal. The add-to-wallet link can sit on the Experience Cloud member portal, and every scan posts back to Salesforce (integrations).
- Check-in at events. The Kemicard Scanner checks the live record at the door and writes the check-in back to the member (scanner guide).
AC MemberSmart remains the system that manages subscriptions, payments and the portal. Kemicard is the wallet-card layer on top of it.
