Best Apple and Google Wallet Loyalty Platforms for Salesforce

The best loyalty platform for a Salesforce org is the one that puts a loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and keeps that card current from Salesforce data. Here are six worth comparing. What separates them is where the loyalty program runs, and so where your member data lives once the card is saved.
Vendor details are taken from each vendor's own website, documentation and AppExchange listing as published on 9 October 2026 (sources at the end). Prices and terms change, so check each vendor for current details.
Three kinds of Salesforce loyalty provider
"Loyalty platform for Salesforce" covers three quite different products:
- Packages installed in your org. A managed package from the AppExchange. Either the pass is built from the Salesforce record, or the package connects the record to the vendor's own pass platform. Which of the two it is matters more than anything on the feature list.
- External pass platforms. The template is built in the vendor's app, and member details reach it over an API or through Zapier. A second copy of each pass lives outside your org.
- Loyalty engines. The points program itself: accrual rules, tiers and redemption. Salesforce Loyalty Management is one. An engine calculates the balance, and a pass shows it.
Kemicard is a pass platform, not a points engine. It shows whatever balance and tier your Salesforce records hold, whether those come from Loyalty Management or from your own fields.
How we compared them
- Where it runs: installed in your org, or a separate platform with its own copy of the member.
- Which wallets: Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and, for one vendor, Samsung Wallet.
- Where a scan is recorded: the system that stores the redemption is the one your reports have to read.
- Who does the setup: a Salesforce admin, a developer or the vendor.
- How pricing is published: a listed price, a rate card, or a quote.
The six at a glance
| Platform | Where it runs | Wallets | Scan recorded in | Setup | Published price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kemicard | Installed in Salesforce. The pass is rendered from the record | Apple, Google | The Salesforce record | Salesforce admin | From $3,500 a year for 5,000 passes |
| Salesforce Loyalty Management | Salesforce's own loyalty product | Google Wallet in the documented integration | Not described in the Google Wallet documentation | Admin plus Google Cloud and credential setup | Editions from $20,000 per org per month |
| PassKit | Its own platform, connected by API or Zapier | Apple, Google | PassKit, through its PassReader app | Someone comfortable with Flow or APIs | From $39.50 a month plus pass volume |
| Passcreator | Its own platform. Salesforce through Zapier | Apple, Google, Samsung | Passcreator's Smart Scan app | No-code | Free tariff; paid prices shown after sign-up |
| Yourpass | AppExchange package connecting to its own pass platform | Apple, Google, plus its YourWallet Android app | Not described on the listing | Salesforce admin | €0.30 per pass per year |
| PassEntry | Its own platform. Salesforce through Zapier | Apple, Google | PassEntry, including POS terminals | No-code, or developer for the API | From £199 a month |
1. Kemicard
Kemicard installs inside Salesforce as a managed package from the AppExchange. An admin designs the card in Kemicard Studio, inside Salesforce, and maps each field to standard or custom objects, including Leads, Contacts, Campaigns and Opportunities. A Flow issues the card. The add-to-wallet link goes out by email, SMS, WhatsApp, a landing page or a QR code, and the member taps once, with nothing to download.
The pass is a view of the Salesforce record rather than a copy of it. Change the points balance or the tier and the card on the phone changes too. Installs and scans are written back to the record, so loyalty reporting sits in the same Salesforce reports and dashboards as the rest of your member data.
Pros
- Member data stays on Salesforce records, with no second database to keep in step.
- A Salesforce admin can run the whole setup without a developer.
- Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, real-time updates and push notifications on every plan.
- Single-use redemption is built in. Switch it on or off per template in the Flow, with no code, and a second scan of a used pass fails.
- The Kemicard Scanner checks the live record, not just the barcode (how scanning works).
- Runs inside Salesforce's SOC 2 Type II environment, which helps a security review (security).
- 10% nonprofit discount.
Cons
- The smallest plan is $3,500 a year, which is a lot for a few hundred cards.
- It needs Salesforce. An organization on another CRM gets nothing from it.
- Rotating barcodes are a Google Wallet feature, so Apple passes keep a standard barcode and rely on validation at the scan.
- The Starter plan includes one user licence.
Pricing: annual plans priced by passes issued per year, from $3,500 for 5,000 passes. See the full pricing table.
2. Salesforce Loyalty Management with Google Wallet
Salesforce's own loyalty product includes a documented Google Wallet integration. Pass classes are created in the Google Pay & Wallet Console. Setup needs a Google Cloud service account with the Wallet API enabled, plus, on the Salesforce side, a Java keystore certificate, a JWT external credential and named credentials. A Flow generates the pass URL when a member enrols or a voucher is issued.
The loyalty card shows the account name and ID, a barcode, reward points, tier, member type and expiry date, and up to 50 vouchers can be linked to one card. Salesforce describes Google Wallet as a third-party service provider that customers use at their own option. We cover the details in Salesforce's Google Wallet integration compared with Kemicard.
Pros
- The loyalty engine (accrual, redemption, tiers) and the card come from one vendor.
- Member and loyalty data stay in Salesforce.
- The card reads points and tier straight from the loyalty records.
- Up to 50 vouchers per loyalty card.
Cons
- Google Wallet only. The documented integration has no Apple Wallet route.
- The setup involves Google Cloud, a keystore and a JWT, so it isn't an admin-only job.
- Scanning and push messages aren't described in the Google Wallet documentation.
- The integration lists the Loyalty Management Growth and Advanced editions (and the B2C and B2B Loyalty licences) among the licences it runs on.
Pricing: Loyalty Management editions are $20,000 (Starter), $35,000 (Growth) and $45,000 (Advanced) per org per month, billed annually. If you already run Loyalty Management and only need Apple Wallet, Kemicard can add it alongside (Kemicard with Loyalty Management).
3. PassKit
PassKit is a standalone wallet pass platform for any CRM or stack, covering Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Salesforce connects over its API from Flow or Apex, or through Zapier, and PassKit posts events back to webhook URLs you configure. PassKit's own Salesforce guide lists a team member "familiar with Salesforce automation or basic API logic" among the requirements. Pass records are held in PassKit's cloud, and its PassReader app validates passes against your PassKit account.
Pros
- Works with any CRM, not only Salesforce.
- A full public rate card, so a small start is cheap and predictable.
- API-first, which suits a developer-led team.
- A 45-day trial with no payment method required.
Cons
- The Salesforce link is an integration your team builds and maintains.
- Pass records live in PassKit as well as in Salesforce.
- Scans are validated in PassKit, so getting them onto Salesforce records is more integration work.
- You add your own Apple pass certificate.
Pricing: a monthly platform fee by team size, from $39.50 for one team member to $249.50 for unlimited, including 250 multi-use and 250 single-use passes. Beyond those, multi-use passes start at $0.045 each and single-use passes (coupons, tickets) at $0.0945, falling with volume. Billed monthly in arrears. See Kemicard vs PassKit.
4. Passcreator
Passcreator issues loyalty cards, vouchers, tickets and ID cards for Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet, and is a Samsung Wallet Platform Partner. Passes are validated with its Smart Scan app on iOS or Android, and NFC is included. Passes can notify a customer near a branch.
Salesforce is listed among its integrations, and Zapier's Passcreator connector is the no-code route. Its triggers include Pass Scanned, which fires when a scan is recorded in Passcreator's app or API, and pass saved or deleted on a phone. On the Salesforce side, the Zapier actions include creating a contact, updating a record, adding a contact to a campaign and launching a Flow.
Pros
- Three wallets, including Samsung Wallet.
- No developer needed for the setup.
- The Pass Scanned trigger can carry scans into Salesforce through Zapier.
- A scanner app on iOS and Android, with NFC.
- A permanently free tariff, with no credit card, for trying it out.
Cons
- Not installed in Salesforce. Pass data lives in Passcreator.
- The Zapier automation between the two systems is yours to maintain.
- Paid plan prices are shown after sign-up rather than on a public page.
5. Yourpass
Yourpass is a pass platform with a Salesforce connector, listed on the AppExchange as Mobile Cards, Passes & Tickets. The package installs in your org and drives Yourpass's platform, where each pass is stored as a .pkpass file in Yourpass's own infrastructure. It covers Google Wallet as well as Apple Wallet, plus its own YourWallet app for Android, and it's also used with POS, ERP and ticketing systems.
Pros
- An AppExchange package, so setup starts in Salesforce.
- A low per-pass list price.
- One pass can be driven from several systems, not only the CRM.
- Its own Android app for devices without Google Wallet.
- An EU-based vendor, headquartered in Prague.
Cons
- Passes are stored outside Salesforce, in Yourpass's infrastructure.
- The listing doesn't say where a scan is recorded, so ask their team.
- The AppExchange listing shows version 1.2.0, last modified in March 2022.
Pricing: €0.30 per pass or card per year. See Kemicard vs Yourpass.
6. PassEntry
PassEntry issues Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes and names Salesforce in its integrations ("automatically issue and update wallet passes from Salesforce"), with the link running to its Zapier integration. Developers get a REST API with webhooks. No-code teams get Zapier, CSV uploads and dashboard tools. At the till, it works with Adyen, Verifone, Ingenico, PAX and Sunmi terminals, and Adyen's Android terminals can scan NFC wallet passes.
Pros
- Payment-terminal integrations, useful when redemption happens at a till.
- Three routes in: API with webhooks, Zapier, or CSV uploads.
- A 14-day trial with 100 passes and no card required.
- Prices are published.
Cons
- Not installed in Salesforce. The Salesforce link runs through Zapier, and pass data lives in PassEntry.
- The Pilot plan covers one seat, one template and 500 passes.
- Prices are in pounds sterling, before VAT.
Pricing: Pilot is £199 a month, or £167 a month billed annually. Custom starts at £200 a month by quote, and Enterprise is tailored.
How to pick one for your Salesforce org
If Salesforce holds your member records
Start with the platforms that install in the org, and ask each one where the pass lives once it's issued. Kemicard renders the pass from the record. Yourpass drives its own platform from Salesforce. If you already license Loyalty Management, its Google Wallet integration is worth a look first, and Kemicard can cover Apple Wallet alongside it.
If your points are calculated somewhere else
The pass only displays the balance, so the real question is where that balance is worked out. If it's calculated outside Salesforce, an external pass platform connected to that engine may fit better: PassKit for a developer build, Passcreator or PassEntry for the no-code route.
If you have one location or a few hundred members
An annual floor in the thousands doesn't make sense at that size. Passcreator's free tariff and PassEntry's Pilot plan both issue real Apple Wallet and Google Wallet cards, so a small program doesn't have to stay on a paper punch card.
Final take
All six put a loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. What separates them is where the program runs, and that decides where member data lives once the card is saved.
For a team whose records already live in Salesforce, Kemicard issues the loyalty card from the Salesforce record itself, so there is no second database to keep in step. Installs and scans are reported on Salesforce dashboards, and pricing is published by passes per year, with 10% off for nonprofits. For the setup itself, see how to issue Apple Wallet and Google Wallet loyalty cards from Salesforce.
Frequently asked questions
Which loyalty platforms record redemptions in Salesforce?
It depends on where the scan is stored. Kemicard writes each scan to the Salesforce record. Passcreator records it in its own app, and the Pass Scanned trigger can push it into Salesforce through Zapier. PassKit validates in its PassReader app and can post events to webhooks. PassEntry captures redemptions at payment terminals. Yourpass's listing and Salesforce's Google Wallet documentation don't describe scanning.
What are the best PassKit alternatives for a Salesforce team?
For a card built inside Salesforce, Kemicard, which renders the pass from the record, and Yourpass, which connects Salesforce to its own platform. For a no-code route, Passcreator and PassEntry connect through Zapier. Loyalty Management is the alternative if you also need the points engine and your members are on Google Wallet. PassKit stays the better fit when a developer is building against an API. More in Kemicard vs PassKit.
Which loyalty platforms support NFC as well as QR codes?
Passcreator includes NFC and "hold to reader" alongside its Smart Scan app. PassEntry works with Adyen's Android terminals, which scan NFC wallet passes. Kemicard uses QR codes and barcodes checked against the live record, with a rotating barcode option on Google Wallet.
How do you tell Salesforce loyalty providers apart on a vendor page?
Look for what moves across the connection. A package that names Salesforce objects and Flows works in the org. A page that names an API, a Zapier connector or webhooks describes an external platform. Then ask where the pass and the scan are stored once a card is issued.
