Choosing the loyalty card format

In Apple Wallet, loyalty uses the store card layout; Google Wallet has a loyalty class with an analogous structure. Both give you a brand strip, a small set of front fields, a barcode, and unlimited back-of-card content. The discipline is choosing what earns the front: member name, tier, and points — everything else goes on the back.

The fields that matter

• Points balance — the number members check; keep it primary and live.
• Tier — status is the emotional hook; change the card art per tier.
• Barcode — QR scans most reliably across both wallets.
• Back of card — current rewards, progress to next tier, terms, and a portal link.
